Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice (or compact)
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification within 90 days if ASC pediatrics
• One year licensed RN experience in OR or similar areas with approval

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning and goals.
• Implement the plan of care with coordination and supervision of the health care team.
• Evaluate patient and family responses and revise the plan as needed.
• Document assessments, planning, and outcomes in the patient record.
• Provide evidence-based care and participate in mentoring and education of staff.
