Job summary

Physician Partners of America is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver perioperative care through assessment, planning, and evaluation. You will support the surgical team, ensure patient safety, and maintain sterile technique.

Responsibilities include pre-op assessment, circulating care, documenting health records, and collaboration with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes. BLS/ACLS are required; CNOR preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Active State Registered Nursing License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Aseptic and sterile technique expertise.
• Proven OR nurse experience and knowledge of surgical procedures.
• Strong understanding of patient safety and compliance standards.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• CNOR preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compassionate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
• Perform initial pre-op assessment and formulate an appropriate care plan.
• Provide circulating care and ensure equipment and supplies meet needs.
• Maintain sterile field using aseptic technique.
• Accurately document patient health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Interpret and implement physician orders and evaluate treatments.
• Promote patient safety and report unsafe practices as required.
• Participate in Safety Management, Infection Control, and Life Safety activities.
• Engage with team members professionally and attend staff meetings.
