Job summary

Gateway Surgery Center in Central Phoenix is seeking an experienced RN to assess, plan, implement and document nursing care for same-day surgery patients. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an accredited outpatient setting.

Minimum qualifications include an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and a year of OR experience. PALS may be required for pediatrics, with strong commitment to compassionate care and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice (or compact).
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification within 90 days if ASC pediatrics assigned.
• Minimum one-year RN experience in OR or related perioperative areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning.
• Formulate and execute a plan of care with multidisciplinary input.
• Provide direct patient care per physician orders and nursing plan.
• Document care, assessments and responses in patient records.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Mentor staff and contribute to nursing quality initiatives.

Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher
