Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Consumer Experience Center on the night shift. You will deliver courteous customer service, provide virtual nursing care within scope, and triage consumer inquiries using established protocols.

The role requires 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, active RN license with BLS and NRP, and the ability to document interactions in electronic health records. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• RN license required (BLS, NRP)
• 2+ years clinical nursing experience
• 1+ virtual care monitoring or care experience (preferred)
• L&D experience preferred
• Electronic Fetal Monitor experience preferred
• Spanish bilingual not required but preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous responses and excellent customer service to consumers, clinic staff, physicians, and leaders
• Work with staff to achieve performance metric standards
• Maintain knowledge of AdventHealth services to direct inquiries appropriately
• Provide virtual clinical care within nursing scope of practice
• Perform triage and determine acuity using established protocols
• Ask questions to assess symptoms and develop patient care plans
• Offer education and options based on assessment and protocol; escalate as needed
• Refer to providers and community resources; assist with scheduling
• Document interactions and update records in the system
• Perform other duties as assigned
