Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Perinatal Sonographer to perform advanced obstetric ultrasound in inpatient and outpatient settings. You will detect fetal abnormalities, monitor maternal health, and collaborate with MFM physicians to guide complex decisions.

The role requires ARDMS OB/GYN or registry eligibility and AMA-approved education. Schedule is 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday with rotation on Fridays; satellite office duties may arise 1-2 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate from AMA approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• ARDMS registered in OB/GYN OR registry eligible. If not registered, must successfully obtain ARDMS OB/GYN registry within 1 year of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 2 detailed fetal anatomy ultrasound and other ultrasound exams.
• Review medical records to determine indicated exams based on history.
• Prepare preliminary findings for MFM physician and notify physician of life-threatening issues.
• Demonstrate appropriate customer service and teamwork in clinical setting.
