Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Addresses complex psychosocial needs of patients and families
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication and care given
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers
