Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year perinatal nursing experience preferred
• BLS required
• RN license in state of employment or compact
• New nurses orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Perinatal RN Residency preferred
• AWHONN FHM certifications or NCC EFM required

Responsibilities

• Lead self, others, or leaders per OneCHRISTUS competencies.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and monitor treatment effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, meds, and care.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients and families.
