CHRISTUS Health in Texas is seeking a Perinatal Registered Nurse for overnight 7PM–7AM shifts in a family-centered care setting. The role focuses on antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care, and neonatal support within Level II/IV maternal and newborn services.

Responsibilities include nursing process delivery, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Requires RN license, BLS, and relevant certifications; prior perinatal experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• BLS required.
• STABLE certification required (from listed courses).
• NRP certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers.
