CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Per Diem RN with perinatal experience in Mount Pleasant, TX to provide continued patient care across shifts. The role requires BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications, with potential orientation and ongoing competency validations.

The nurse will perform nursing processes, document care, and support patient and family education in a dynamic perinatal unit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current certification required: NRP
• Current certification required: ACLS
• Grace periods for credentials relevant to Perinatal Services are specified by CHRISTUS Health

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
