Intermountain Region ASCs is seeking a RN Pre-Op & PACU nurse in Utah to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. You will prepare patients, provide education, assess health, and develop individualized plans of care, then monitor post-anesthesia patients and guide discharge instructions.

Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessments, post-operative monitoring, documentation, and adherence to CMS, state, CDC, and AAAHC standards.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions and work calmly under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and formulate a care plan based on patient needs.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre-operative education and instructions.
• Document assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients and provide pain management and discharge guidance.
• Document post-operative care and interventions in the medical record.
• Adhere to CMS, state, CDC, and AAAHC standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, coworkers, and guests.
