Qualifications

• Current RN license in Utah or eligible via Interstate Compact
• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential (within 30 days)
• Current RQI Healthcare Provider ALS eCredential (within 90 days)

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced pre- and post-anesthesia recovery assessments for higher-risk patients.
• Manages recoveries with invasive monitoring and regional analgesia devices.
• Interprets invasive BP trends, respiratory status, analgesia effects, and comorbidity interactions to guide decisions.
• Leads stabilization of complex recoveries and coordinates with anesthesia and surgical teams.
• Administers medications and interventions for complex recovery needs and evaluates response in real time.
• Provides patient and family education related to recovery, pain plans, and discharge expectations.
• Acts as a clinical resource and mentor for junior staff during complex recoveries.
• Supports relief charge responsibilities and contributes to patient flow and prioritization of care.
