The Ministry of Justice is recruiting a Performance & Quality Officer to support Probation Delivery Units across the Yorkshire and the Humber region. This temporary post requires travel across the region and delivery of quality improvement initiatives to meet national performance indicators.

The role focuses on extracting and analysing data to identify performance issues, developing improvement plans, and sharing best practice with PQOs to drive regional quality.

• Experience of using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Business Objects and Power BI.

Responsabilidades

• Support Probation Delivery Units (PDUs) to achieve agreed performance targets across the Yorkshire and the Humber region.
• Develop and deliver a quality improvement programme for the region.
• Identify local performance and quality issues and link to HMPPS priorities.
• Run improvement initiatives to address opportunities for performance improvement.
• Share best practice with other PQOs to maximise regional quality and performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Performance Team based in Probation Service Yorkshire and the Humber. It is a temporary post until 18/01/28 due to the substantive post holder undertaking another temporary role. There is a possibility, however, that this could become a permanent appointment

• . The Performance & Quality Officer (PQO) is a regional role based across the Yorkshire and the Humber region and there is a requirement to travel across the region. The role involves working with Probation Delivery Units (PDUs) to support them in achieving agreed performance targets. This includes:
• Ensuring that PDUs deliver in accordance with agreed national service delivery indicators and specifications
• Developing and delivering a quality improvement programme for the Yorkshire and the Humber region
• Identifying local performance and quality issues and opportunities linking into His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) priorities
• Running improvement initiatives to address opportunities for performance improvement
• Working with other PQOs to share best practice and maximise improvements in quality and performance
• Experience of using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Business Objects, Power BI
• Demonstrate the ability to extract and maintain information and analyse data
