Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a Therapist to join its Performance Medicine team in the United States. The role focuses on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and medical support for Cirque du Soleil artists, reporting to the Artistic Manager and Senior Advisor – Performance Medicine.

Qualifications

• University degree in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy with Nevada registration.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant musculoskeletal clinical experience.
• Current First Aid and Trauma Management certificate required.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with performing artists/athletes is an asset.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and a variable schedule under pressure.
• Ability to work at height or in confined spaces; lead of Emergency Response Team.
• If hired at 'O', must pass a test.
• Right to work in the United States verified via Form I-9.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation and medical care to Cirque du Soleil high-performance artists.
• Deliver first aid and trauma management as first responder.
• Collaborate with coaches and artistic team on injury reduction and performance support.
• Document all medical interactions per medico-legal and CdS standards.
• Ensure confidentiality and appropriate referrals for medical conditions.
• Coordinate with show representatives on insurance and worker's compensation needs.
