Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a Therap ist to provide rehabilitation services to its performance artists in a high-demand environment in Las Vegas. The role requires a strong team mindset, adaptability, and clear communication to support artist health and safety.

You will report to the Artistic Manager and Senior Advisor – Performance Medicine and collaborate with Coaches and the Artistic team to implement injury reduction strategies and ensure professional practice.

Qualifications

• University degree in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy along with an appropriately maintained and recognised professional registration in the State of Nevada;
• Minimum 5 years' relevant clinical musculoskeletal experience;
• Must be able to achieve and maintain a current valid First Aid and Trauma Management certificate issued by a CdS recognised body;
• Fluency in English
• Experience of working with Performing artists/Performance athletes and coaches in a professional environment is an asset
• Able to work in a culturally diverse environment;
• Able to quickly adapt to unexpected situations and work flexibly with a variable schedule whilst under pressure;
• Able to work at height or in confined spaces, including as Lead of Emergency Response Team
• If hired at "O", one must have the ability to pass a test;
• Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire Athletic and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization;

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal rehabilitation services to Cirque du Soleil high performance artists.
• Deliver emergency response care in a safe and professional manner.
• Maintain CdS First aid and Trauma Management certification and lead as first responder during training/in-show cover.
• Collaborate with Coaches and Artistic team to implement injury reduction programs.
• Refer to psychological and nutritional professionals when appropriate.
• Coordinate cost-efficient and timely referrals to medical providers.
• Document all medical interactions per medico-legal and confidentiality requirements.
• Accompany artists to medical appointments as needed.
• Participate in medical consultations and PMED team meetings.
• Maintain communication with the show's representative for insurance and workers' comp needs.
