Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a Head Therapist to lead the Performance Medicine team, delivering rehabilitation services to our high-performance artists and ensuring best-practice medical care within the show environment.

You will report to the Artistic Director and Senior Advisor – Performance Medicine, overseeing clinical care, safety, and collaboration with coaching and artistic teams to optimize performance and reduce injuries across our productions in the United States.

Qualifications

• University degree in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy with recognised Florida licensure.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant clinical musculoskeletal experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with high-caliber athletes or performing artists in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency response care and maintain readiness per CDS guidelines.
• Lead injury prevention and rehabilitation programs for artists.
• Coordinate with Coaches and Artistic Team on injury timelines and treatment plans.
• Ensure medical documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with medico-legal requirements.
• Collaborate with PMED Senior Advisor to identify and address injury trends.
