Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group seeks an Athletic Trainer/Therapist in Florida to support high-performance artists. This on-call role delivers rehabilitation, prevention, and medical care within Cirque du Soleil's Performance Medicine department.

Reporting to the Head Therapist and PMED Manager, you will collaborate with coaches, document care, and lead emergency response when necessary under a dynamic show schedule.

Qualifications

• University degree in Athletic Therapy or Physical Therapy or Physiotherapy and credentialed to work in Florida
• CPR/AED Certification (additional Emergency Sports First Responder or EMT courses preferred)
• Minimum 5 years' relevant clinical musculoskeletal experience
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset
• Experience with performing artists/performances environments is an asset
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to a variable schedule, and collaborate with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality rehabilitation, prevention, and healthcare administration for artists
• Provide emergency response care and lead as first responder when needed
• Document all medical information per medico-legal standards and CdS requirements
• Collaborate with coaches and artistic team to plan reintegration and performance support
• Coordinate referrals for psychological and nutritional support when appropriate
• Maintain timely communications with PMED leadership and show representatives
