Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a Head Coach to lead Human Performance coaching for artists in a U.S.-based production. You will supervise a team of Artist Coaches, ensure safety protocols, and drive performance improvements across all acts.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a commitment to continuous learning. You will collaborate with Performance Medicine, Health & Safety, and Artistic direction to plan training, assess progress, and implement injury risk

Qualifications

• Degree in physical activity sciences or equivalent theoretical/practical training.
• 6+ years in group management and training planning; circus arts knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English; additional language is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage diverse teams.
• Ability to handle uncertainty and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supervision and safety of Artists and manage Human Performance risk.
• Partner with Performance Medicine to create Injury Risk Reduction strategies.
• Follow Governance & Standards per Coaching Handbook and Coaching Code of Conduct.
• Create and maintain an Artist-centered environment for skill acquisition and readiness assessments.
• Oversee content of training and acrobatic performances; improve overall performance.
• Document Artist progress and share information with Artist Management for decisions.
• Deliver the Coaching portion of Artist evaluations and support professional development.
