Job summary

The MetroHealth System is implementing and expanding Performance Management Programs to support organizational goals. This role conducts education and training for managers and coordinates PM processes with the Manager, Performance Management to drive employee performance and effectiveness.

They will uphold MetroHealth's mission, vision, values, and service standards while facilitating multiple PM initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • One year of professional experience in performance management, adult learning theory, curriculum development, HR, or leadership development.
  • Proven ability to interact credibly with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to handle changing priorities.
  • Experience facilitating small and large group interactions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to interpret business statistics.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in development and enhancement of Performance Management Programs for all levels of employees.
  • Conducts performance management education and training for management staff.
  • Collaborates with Manager, Performance Management to develop, coordinate, and implement the Performance Management process and leadership initiatives.
  • Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Job description

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8:30 am -5:00 pm

Summary

Participates in the development and ongoing enhancement of Performance Management Programs for all levels of employees throughout The MetroHealth System (MHS) that support organizational and departmental goals and objectives. Conducts performance management education and training programs for management staff. Works collaboratively with Manager, Performance Management to develop, coordinate, and implement the Performance Management process and other leadership initiatives to improve employee performance and effectiveness. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources, or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
  • One year of professional experience in performance management, adult learning theory, curriculum development, Human Resources, or Leadership Development.
  • Proven ability to interact credibly and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective time management, and follow-up skills with a capacity to manage multiple, changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively facilitating small and large group interactions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills conveying competence and professionalism.
  • Sound, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software packages.
  • Ability to use, understand and interpret various business-related statistical reports.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business or related field.
  • Human Resources Certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCO. Experience with E-Learning tools.

Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate face-to-face, via phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents. Ability to use the computer.
