Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Perception Autonomy engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain real-time sensor software across heterogeneous autonomous platforms. You will work on AI/ML sensor algorithms, fuse data from EO, IR, radar, and other sensors, and ensure robust deployment for real-world demonstrations.

The role requires expertise in ML deployment on embedded platforms, proficiency with Linux and Docker, and collaboration with DoD customers to tailor solutions and provide top-tier

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent with strong sensor/ML systems focus.
• Experience with multiple sensor modalities and sensor physics.
• Experience training and deploying ML algorithms on integrated systems.
• Familiarity with Linux and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain real-time sensor software for autonomous vehicles.
• Design and rapidly integrate AI/ML sensor algorithms across platforms.
• Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams for on-site DoD testing and demonstrations.
• Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices and collect performance data.
• Interface with DoD customers to understand requirements and provide technical triage.
