Community Partners in Action, Inc. (CPA) is seeking a Per Diem Human Services Worker for the Work Release Program in Hartford, CT.

The role includes supervising residents, promoting safety, and supporting employment readiness and life skills development. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s preferred), experience with justice-involved clients, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Formación

• High School diploma/GED; associate or bachelor's degree.
• Experience in human services with justice-involved clients with substance abuse or mental health issues preferred.
• Ability to interact with multi-cultural populations; crisis management skills; belief that people can change and deserve recovery.
• Must have a valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) desired.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and monitor resident activities in a safe environment.
• Advocate for participants encouraging program participation and accountability.
• Act as mediator to resolve resident conflicts in a solutions-focused manner.
• Maintain professional boundaries with residents, staff, visitors and providers.
• Serve as a positive role model and uphold ethics.
• Promote a culture of respect and eliminate bias in beliefs and systems.
• Assist with meeting resident needs as necessary.
• Follow agency policies and procedures governing facility operations.
