Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved Sonography program.
• 2 years of Sonographer experience.
• Proficiency in vascular and general ultrasound exams.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Reviews patient records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Positions patients and selects transducers and settings for optimal imaging.
• Identifies and labels images with patient data and study details.
• Maintains records and documents billing codes for procedures.
• Acts as a resource and supports departmental quality initiatives.
