Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized school of Diagnostic Sonography and ARDMS certification.
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Nine months of Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen and OB/Gyn with clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations.
• Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment to determine testing protocol.
• Provides technical interpretation of data to aid physicians in diagnosis and patient care during procedures.
