Job summary

Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, AK seeks a per-diem Registered Sonographer to perform and evaluate ultrasound examinations onsite. This 0.01 FTE, day-shift position requires ARDMS certification or equivalent within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, document findings, and ensure patient-centered care in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with ARDMS.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations.
• Obtains clinical history and assesses patient condition to determine testing protocol.
• Provides technical interpretation of sonographic data to aid physicians.
