Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized school of Diagnostic Sonography required.
• ARDMS certification required or eligible within 1 year of hire.
• NRDMS credential within 1 year of hire is preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 9 months ultrasound coursework in abdomen/OB-Gyn with clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations.
• Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment to determine testing protocol.
• Provides technical interpretation of sonographic data to aid physicians in diagnosis.
• Provides patient care during procedures.

Education

Graduate of a recognized school of Diagnostic Sonography

ARDMS Certification

National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

Nine (9) months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn
