Job summary

Cape Cod Imaging Services, LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a per diem role. The position emphasizes maintaining a sterile field, precise instrument handling, and collaborative teamwork in an ambulatory setting.

Ideal candidates have CST certification within 1 year, and at least 1 year of surgical tech experience, including diverse case scrubbing (ortho, plastics, general, urology). Mass AHA/BLS basics required. Free parking onsite.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technician program or equivalent.
• CST certification within 1 year of program completion.
• Massachusetts experience prior to July 2013.
• Minimum of one year work experience as a surgical technician.
• Experience scrubbing in orthopedic, plastics, general, and urology cases preferred.
• Ambulatory/outpatient surgery experience preferred.
• Experience in Sterile Processing Department is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OR by sterilizing and setting up necessary equipment.
• Select and check case carts and preference cards for correct instrument pans and sterile supplies.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and safe patient care within the OR.
• Assist with counts on instruments, sharps, and sponges and handling specimens.
