Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Technologist to join our busy ambulatory surgery team. The role requires scrubbing for orthopedic, spine, pain and podiatry procedures, maintaining a sterile field and supporting the surgical team.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a surgical technician program, or equivalent experience, with strong teamwork and communication skills. Experience in an ambulatory center is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the surgical team and participates in quality improvement activities.
