United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Surgical Technologist Per Diem in Vero Beach, Florida. The role involves scrubbing for surgeries, maintaining a sterile field, and preparing instruments. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, completion of a Surgical Technician Program, and previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is preferred. Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification as required by state and/or center.
Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
Experience with robotic total joint.
Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.
Responsibilities
Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
