Job summary

Upper Bay Surgery Center is seeking a per diem Surgical Technologist to scrub and assist in procedures, maintain sterile fields, and support the surgical team. Duties include preparing instruments and supplies and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a surgical technician program, and state or center certification as required, with at least 1 year of ambulatory or hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program is required.
• State or center certification as required.
• 1+ year of Surgical Tech experience in ambulatory or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgeries.
• Supports quality improvement activities in the center.
• Works as part of the surgical team to coordinate patient care.
