Job summary

IVIRMA Global is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Center Technician to support procedures in North America. The role requires knowledge of scrub processes for gyn, urology cases, and the ability to anticipate the surgeon's needs. Expect 8-hour shifts, two per month, including at least one weekend day.

The technician will manage instruments, sterile technique, and equipment, while assisting the surgical team and mentoring new staff as needed. Per diem status with benefits outlined for 30+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nationally accredited program for surgical technologists with CST credential.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a surgical instrument technician prior to January 1, 2015.
• Current BLS Certification – required.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Handles instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Assists surgical team by passing instruments, sponges and sutures.
• Assembles supplies and equipment needed for procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique and sterile field throughout procedures.
• Transports patients to and from the surgical suite.
