Job summary

IVI RMA North America has an opening for a Per Diem Surgical Center Technician in Basking Ridge, NJ. The position offers two shifts per month, with at least one weekend day, and 8-hour shifts starting between 6am-8am.

The role requires a surgical technologist credential and a minimum of two years’ experience with sterile technique, plus BLS certification. Benefits apply for 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proficient in keeping sterile technique and instrumentation.
• Familiar with Excel, Word and Outlook for documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Assemble supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Prepare sterile instrument table and maintain aseptic technique.
• Transport patients to and from the surgical suite.
• Assist surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
• Mentor new staff members and ensure safety precautions.
