Job summary

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support scheduling for multiple departments in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will work with the Chief Nursing Officer and department leadership to create and revise schedules, post shifts on time, and ensure coverage aligns with policies and the CBA.

The role requires strong interpersonal communication, experience with Microsoft Office, and healthcare exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
• Experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing and scheduling support for assigned departments.
• Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and Department Leadership to create and revise department schedules.
• Meet schedule posting deadlines and ensure cost-effective staffing.
• Forecast staffing needs and adjust staffing in real-time to fill gaps.
