Job summary

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center, a 167-bed community hospital in Southern California, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to support department scheduling in partnership with the CNO and leadership.

You will post schedules, respond to real-time staffing needs, manage agency personnel in the VMS, and ensure compliance files while collaborating with finance to reconcile invoices and reduce reliance on contract staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
• Healthcare experience preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staffing and scheduling for assigned departments.
• Collaborate with CNO and Department Leadership to create and revise schedules.
• Forecast staffing needs to prevent emergencies and manage agency use.
