Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders. You will partner with patients and families to improve communication, safety and quality of life.

You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, delivering personalized care in patients' homes. Requires active state licensure, CCC-SLP, and CPR, with preferred 1+ year experience in speech pathology.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with accredited program and practicum.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team; in-home evaluation and care.
