Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders. You will work with patients and families to improve communication, safety and quality of life in a home health setting.

Primary responsibilities include assessing and treating adults with speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders, providing aural rehabilitation and AAC systems, and

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in Texas.
• Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in Speech Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
