Job summary

Optum's Amedisys unit seeks a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to provide in-home assessment and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders. You will work with patients and families, coordinating with the care team to enhance communication, safety and quality of life.

The role offers a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package and requires CCC-SLP, state license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team to improve communication and safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
