Job summary

The Springs of Covington in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team. You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and provide AAC support with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' swallowing and cognitive conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized SLP treatment plans.
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive/lang disorders.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers.
• Coordinate with physicians for swallowing procedures.
• Maintain accurate billing and clinical documentation.
• Observe confidentiality and safeguard patient information.
