Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehabilitation team serving residents with person-centered care. The role focuses on evaluating swallowing and cognitive function, developing treatment plans, and delivering skilled speech-language therapy.

In this position, you’ll provide AAC systems, educate residents and caregivers, and collaborate with the care team while maintaining compliant documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certification in good standing.
• Experience in SNF/long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence.
• Provide AAC systems for severe expressive/language disorders.
• Educate residents and caregivers on communication strategies.
