Job summary

LHC Group in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Per Diem Senior Living Physical Therapist Assistant to provide age-appropriate care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will assist in implementing treatment plans, supervise PTA students or technicians, and document services in accordance with facility policies. This role involves direct patient care across adult to geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to drive and access to reliable transportation.
• Weekend rotation availability is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and transferring.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate PT assistant services for adult to geriatric patients.
• Assist in carrying out treatment plans under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Supervise PTA students or technicians and document services per policies.
