Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's LHC Group seeks a Senior Living Physical Therapist Assistant to provide age-appropriate services for adults to seniors under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, and to assist with treatment plans.

The PTA delivers direct patient care, may supervise students or technicians, ensures patient and family instruction, and documents services per facility policies; this role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in North Carolina.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate physical therapy services under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Carries out the treatment plan and documents services per facility policies.
• Supervises PTA students or technicians when applicable.
• Delivers direct patient care and patient/family instruction.
