Alps at Wayne Rehab & Care Center in Wayne, New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a per diem position. You will coordinate daily resident care, supervise nursing units, and support clinical staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current NJ RN license.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise nursing functions effectively.
• Empathetic attitude and ability to maintain confidence with residents.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and recognize emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing and redistribution.
• Collaborate with charge nurses to exchange information regarding resident care.
• Make rounds to assess resident condition and monitor critically ill residents.
• Ensure that individual nursing care plans are followed.
• Perform medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Participate in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforce training and orientation of nursing personnel.
• Respond to emergencies and help maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
