Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current NJ RN license.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice.

• Empathetic attitude and ability to maintain confidence with residents.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and recognize emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing and redistribution.
• Collaborate with charge nurses to exchange information regarding resident care.
• Make rounds to assess resident condition and monitor critically ill residents.
• Ensure that individual nursing care plans are followed.
• Perform medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Participate in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforce training and orientation of nursing personnel.
• Respond to emergencies and help maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating total resident care, supervising nursing units, and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. This is a per diem position, offering flexibility and autonomy, with a competitive hourly rate of $50.

Requirements for RN Supervisor:

• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and practices
• Ability to coordinate and supervise nursing functions in an effective manner
• Empathetic attitude and ability to maintain confidence with residents
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and recognize and identify symptoms in emergencies
