Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Registered Nurse to ensure quality care through assessment, care planning, and daily resident evaluation. The role includes directing LPNs/CNAs, orienting new staff, and communicating with the Director of Nursing about assessments and changes in residents’ conditions.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the state, has at least one year of nursing experience, and demonstrates compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
One year nursing experience necessary.

Responsibilities

Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit.
Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
Assist in motivating LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
Provide explanation of nursing procedures and training to staff.
Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments and concerns.
Observe and evaluate residents’ health and report significant changes.
