Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will be part of a dedicated team with strong support and opportunities to build lasting relationships with associates and residents.

As an RN, you will assess and document resident status, coordinate care with providers, mentor nursing assistants, and support resident independence while adhering to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an RN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with elderly residents is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Responds to emergencies and uses emergency response systems per policy.
