Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Per Diem RN. You will deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting and collaborate with a dedicated team to support resident independence.

Responsibilities include assessing and documenting residents’ status, communicating health changes, supervising Resident Care Assistants, and coordinating with care providers. A current RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience with the elderly in paid or volunteer role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status accurately.
• Observes and reports significant health/behavior changes to care leadership per regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead RCAs in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care with community providers via case management.
