Benchmark Senior Living LLC is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will assess and document resident status, respond to health changes, and supervise Resident Care Assistants while coordinating care with community providers.

The role emphasizes mentorship of RCAs, adherence to state regulations, and staying prepared for emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• Current state license as an RN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience with the elderly in paid or volunteer roles is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status accurately.
• Observe and report changes in resident health to relevant staff and directors.
• Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in job responsibilities.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers through case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup as needed.
