Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams and support equipment maintenance under supervision of physicians. Responsibilities include reviewing orders with radiologists, interviewing patients, preparing them, and supporting documentation in the electronic health record.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT and Texas licensure, and BLS certification by day one.

Qualifications

• Assoc degree in radiologic sciences or AMA-approved program.
• ARRT license and Texas Medical Board licensure.
• BLS certification required by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for accuracy and discuss findings with radiologists.
• Interview patients, explain procedures, and obtain history for exam criteria.
• Assist physicians in procedures and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Perform exams following ALARA principles and age-specific requirements.
• Maintain QC and safety practices and respond to codes/rapid responses.
