Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ seeks a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to support both clinical and administrative operations in the Radiation Therapy department. You will assist with patient registration, collect and verify information, coordinate patient flow, and prepare patients for visits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical assistant.
• Flexible to work variable weekdays.
• Ability to manage patient flow and take vital signs.
• Assist in variety of treatments and medications as directed.
• Record test results and maintain medical records.
• Prepare exam rooms with supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with patient information.
• Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems.
