Englewood Health in Pompton Plains is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to support both clinical and administrative operations in our Endocrinology department. You will assist with patient registration, gather and verify information, manage patient flow, and prep patients for visits.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year MA experience, can take vital signs, handle exam room readiness, and work with EPIC EMR. This full-time daytime role offers teamwork in a leading NJ healthcare system.

Qualifications

• 1+ years medical assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to manage patient flow and take vital signs.
• Assist in treatments and medications as directed.
• Record test results and maintain medical records.
• Prepare exam room with supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorization and patient registration; strong organization and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication; maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with EPIC and/or other EMR systems.
