Job summary

Englewood Health in Tenafly is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant/Receptionist to support front-desk operations and clinical flow. Under general supervision, you will interview patients, assist with registrations, answer calls, and help move patients from waiting area to exam rooms.

Requires High School diploma or equivalent or 5 years MA/PCT experience; CMA/RMA/PCT certification; CPR; practice management systems experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferred.
• Strong clerical and data-entry skills helpful.
• Ability to interview patients and collect demographic/financial information.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or representatives to obtain personal, demographic, and financial information.
• Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks in answering phones and registration.
• Assist with patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms and prep work for physicians.
