Job summary

Universal Health Services’s Heritage Oaks HOPE Center in Sacramento is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a state-of-the-art 16-bed psychiatric health facility. The RN will document, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health care team, following nursing process and standards of care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive documentation, applying psychotherapeutic interventions, and contributing to an interdisciplinary treatment plan with measurable goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
• CPR certification
• Successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information and nursing care.
• Employ communication, interviewing techniques, and problem solving in psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Develop interdisciplinary treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions.
